City News Mumbai / Gani Khan

Four missing persons cases have emerged in Bhivandi city within two days. The cases involve two teenage girls aged 16 and 17, a 38‑year‑old woman, and two members of a family. Narpoli and Bhoiwara police have registered kidnapping cases and begun the search. However, the rising incidents of abduction have spread fear among the people.

According to police, the first case is from Mankoli‑Anjur Road, where a 16‑year‑old girl left home at 12 p.m. on 3 September and did not return. Family members suspect that an unknown person lured her away. Narpoli police have filed a case under BNS 137(2).

The second case is from Purnagav, where a 17‑year‑old woman left the New Look Beauty Parlour at 9 p.m. on 2 September without informing anyone and did not reach home. Narpoli police have registered cases under BNS Section 137(2) for both incidents and have begun investigations. PSI Pandit Vagh is handling the investigations of both cases.

The third case is from Bhoiwara. Mohammed Samshar Ansari, a resident of Alamgir Building, complained that between 11:40 a.m. on 3 September and 6:45 a.m. on 4 September, his wife and son left the house without notice. Bhoiwara police have filed a kidnapping case against an unknown person under BNS 140(3). Havildar Gosavi is conducting the investigation.

The fourth case is from Hamaulwara Darghah Road. The 38‑year‑old wife of driver Rameez Momin left home without notice at 9:30 p.m. on 3 September and has not returned. Bhoiwara police have registered a case under BNS 140(3). Havildar Khade and API Nitin Shirsath are conducting the investigation.
