Balaji Chavan files a serious complaint with Congress Maharashtra co‑incharge Rehana Chishty.

In the Nanded city and district Congress committee, Kha. Raviendra Chavan has committed great injustice by sidelining loyal officials and activists, and by placing Iaram Gyarama in important positions, thereby tying the party to the BJP’s claim. The senior Congress official Balaji Chavan has demanded an investigation into all these matters and justice for loyal activists, through a statement to the Congress Party’s National Secretary and Maharashtra co‑head Rihana Chishti.
Having met Rihana Chishti during her Nanded tour, Balaji Chavan submitted a statement that over the past two years, rebel activists working as the BJP’s spy cell (B‑team) have been given positions by Kha. Raviendra Chavan, sidelining loyal activists, thereby injuring the sentiments of loyal activists and officials in the Congress party and causing injustice to them.
In the last 13 municipal elections, loyal Congress activists were not given candidacies; in many places no candidates were even fielded, and those who were fielded were defeated by large vote margins. In Kha. Raviendra Chavan’s Lok Sabha constituency, no municipal councilor or ward councilor was elected as chairman, and although candidates were fielded in 185 seats, only 47 municipal councilors were elected, and all other candidates were defeated.
