Bhiwandi. A case of the sudden disappearance of a 38‑year‑old woman has emerged in the Bhoiwada police station area of Bhiwandi. The woman's husband lodged a complaint with the police, suspecting an unknown person of abducting his wife. The police have begun investigating the case based on the complaint.

According to the complaint given to the police, the complainant Ramijakir Hussain Momin lives near Haideri Masjid on Dargah Road in Hamalwara and works as a driver. His family includes his wife Nahreen Irshad Hussain Momin (38), two sons and other relatives.

Ramijakir says that on the night of 3 September at around 9:30 p.m. he returned home from work. Upon reaching the house, his wife Nahreen was not there. After waiting for a while, he asked his uncle Irshad Momin about his wife over the phone. The uncle said that Nahreen had not come to him either.

After that, Ramijakir, together with his uncle and cousin, searched the surrounding area and the homes of relatives for the woman. Despite an extensive search, no trace was found. He then filed a complaint at the Bhoiwada police station.

The complaint also described the woman's physical appearance. Nahreen was said to be about 5 feet 2 inches tall, fair‑skinned, with a round face, black eyes and hair, and a slender build. She was wearing a black burqa and black slippers and spoke Hindi.

The police record currently lists an unknown person as the accused. The police are searching for the woman and trying to determine the circumstances under which she left the house and where she went afterwards. Officials say that further action will be taken based on the facts that emerge during the investigation.
