Minister Ushnavari restrains verbal orders; Government decision issued Return to the original department by 10 September.

Mumbai Ministry, 25th (Anant Nalavde)-

From officials and staff who have long occupied the “malai‑dar” positions within the ministry to those working in ministerial establishments under irregular “usnavari” and solely on verbal orders, preparations are now underway to directly curb this system.

Consequently, it has come to light that officials who have been serving in the same department for an extended period at the Chief Minister’s office level are being reviewed, and a separate list of approximately 314 officials has reportedly been compiled, with discussions now underway within the administration. However, as no official government document is available regarding this list of 314 officials, it is important to restrict the figure to “information‑based” estimates at present.
