Under the Maharashtra Government’s Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Employment Mahakumbh, the Social Welfare Department of the Bhiwandi‑Nizampur Municipal Corporation organized employment fairs at three locations in the city. The fairs were held at Takiya Amani Shah ITI at Eidgah, the Telugu Society Education Institution in Kamatghar Fene Peda, and at Sanskar Pratishthan located at Chacha Nehru School in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk.
The Municipal Corporation’s Public Relations Officer, Shri Kant Pardeshi, stated that 600 young people registered online for the fairs, of whom 379 attended in person. He added that at Sanskar Pratishthan, out of 213 applicants, 178 were shortlisted and 118 received appointment letters. Similarly, at Takiya Amani Shah ITI, 28 out of 127 were offered appointment letters. Thus, out of the 379 attendees, 146 secured jobs on the spot, spreading joy among the participants.
The fairs attracted 32 major companies, including Todhia Ltd., Triad HR, Pricon Man Power, Shri Kripa Service, LIC, Mahindra & Mahindra, Flipkart, Torrent Power, and Hitachi Cash Management.
During the event, key dignitaries such as Milind Palasule (Social Welfare Chief), Assistant Commissioner Girish Ghosh, V.R. Patil of Skill Development, President and former chairman of Sanskar Pratishthan Ad. Vaibhav Bhoir, councilor Sumit Patil, Nilesh Chaudhary, former councilor Hanuman Chaudhary, councilor Roma Alashi, Neha Kathawale, and guide Ad. Harshal Patil were present.
