Tata, Mahindra and other renowned companies will participate in the Employment Mahakumbh.

Mumbai, 21 September 2026 – Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay ‘Vishwavikrimi Employment Mahakumbh’, conceived by Skill Development Minister Mangla Prabhat Lodha, garners enthusiastic response from leading companies and industry institutions.

Now 1,588 employers have registered, providing 71,939 primary employment opportunities.

The Mahakumbh includes renowned companies and institutions such as Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Godrej Enterprises Group, LIC, HDFC, ICICI, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, Maruti Suzuki, Bosch, Endurance Technologies, Asian Paints, JSW Steel, UltraTech Cement, CEAT and Thermax.

Automobile, manufacturing, banking, financial services, IT, education, health, logistics and other sectors are offering job opportunities.

This will help youth with various academic qualifications and skills to seek employment according to their interests.

Freshers and experienced candidates alike are finding various opportunities.

Candidates with ITI, graduation, HSC, diploma, engineering and other skill‑based qualifications can find positions such as technician, machine operator, fitter, electrician, mechanic, trainee, apprentice, sales, customer service and other roles.

Additionally, opportunities will be available in government‑related institutions.

Considering the response, the number of registered employers is expected to exceed 2,500 by 29 September.

More companies and industry institutions will join in the coming days, further increasing employment opportunities for youth.

Through the Mahakumbh, efforts are being made to align industry HR needs with youth skills.

This initiative will prove vital in providing employment opportunities to state youth while supplying industries with necessary human resources, said Skill Development Minister Mangla Prabhat Lodha.

Employer Round Table for Industry Participation

In the pre‑preparations for the Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay ‘Vishwavikrimi Employment Mahakumbh’ scheduled on 29 September, the Skill Development Department and the Mumbai Suburban District Collector's Office organized an ‘Employer Round Table’ at the former District Collector's Office in Bandra on 11 September. This meeting, convened at the initiative of Skill Development Minister Mangla Prabhat Lodha, was attended by representatives from the human resource management departments of 32 renowned industries and establishments in Maharashtra. The purpose of the meeting was to increase active industry participation in the employment fair, understand their human resource needs, and simplify the registration process for available employment opportunities.
