Prakash Ambedkar's scathing attack on the Modi government; “Why surrender to America over Russian oil?” – that’s the question.

Mumbai: Dr. Prakash Ambedkar, national president of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA), has sharply criticized the central government regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India‑U.S. relations. He has made a serious allegation that Prime Minister Modi has completely surrendered before U.S. President Donald Trump, sacrificing India’s economic interests.

Dr. Ambedkar shared an extensive post on the matter, pointing to the United States’ double‑standard policy and the Modi government’s silence. He said that because countries like India continue to purchase cheap Russian crude oil, the United States is threatening to impose import duties of up to 100 % on them. Yet, the same legislation provides a clear exemption for the import of Russian low‑enriched uranium (LEU), which is needed for America’s own nuclear‑energy industry. He asked why Prime Minister Modi does not expose this blatant double‑standard.

Prime Minister Modi regards Trump as his “dear friend,” yet the United States makes India dance to its tune and treats it like a subordinate. He also teased what fear exactly grips Modi.

While criticizing the United States on the issue of China, he added that China purchases far more Russian oil than India, yet last year the United States imposed an additional 25 % tariff only on India. The United States refrained from imposing the tariff on China out of fear that China would retaliate. From this, he alleged that America fears China and regards India as its ‘slave.’

Finally, he launched a direct attack by asking the sensational question of whether the United States possesses a complete file on Prime Minister Modi’s alleged misdeeds or secrets. He claimed that, out of the same fear, Modi has completely surrendered himself and the nation’s economic interests before the United States, and to conceal his dark secrets he is once again turning India into a slave of a foreign country.
