Shiv Sena to extend help for the marriages of children from farmer families in drought‑stricken areas.

Mumbai: Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has decided to extend a helping hand to farmer families in drought‑affected areas whose children have marriage arrangements. He has taken this decision to aid farmers through Shiv Sena. He announced the decision officially by posting on his social‑media account.

Farmers in drought‑affected areas face many problems, and the dilemma of how to pay for their children’s marriages constantly haunts them. Drought, lack of water, and debt make it impossible to raise money for the weddings, leading many farmers to choose suicide. Shiv Sena has taken the initiative to deter them from such decisions and to relieve their worries.

Those farmer families in drought‑affected districts whose children are to be married should contact Shiv Sena’s local representatives and officials. Shinde has announced that the necessary assistance will be provided through Shiv Sena.

Deputy Chief Minister Shinde had earlier promised that farmers would not have a bleak Diwali. Accordingly, the state government has declared drought in 265 talukas today. However, to provide direct relief through Shiv Sena, Shinde has decided to give all possible assistance for their children’s marriages.
